We understand that busy parents and guardians are not always able to assist or attend PTA fundraising events but if you would like to help the school, you can still contribute with a donation.
How to make a donation?
Making a donation is easy as 1-2 -3.
We have an online fundraising account with VirginMoneygiving that allows for secure and speedy donations. Click on this LINK which will take you to our donation page. Clicking on the “Make a Regular Donation“ or “Make a Donation” tab on the left of the screen will allow you to make your donation. This online payment system also reclaims Gift Aid from HMRC on behalf of Western PTA.
We are truly grateful for any sum that you can afford. Here is how your money can help:
- £5 will buy a book for the library,
- £10 will contribute to new bark required for the fitness trail (at a cost of £500),
- £20 will help us purchase music and computer equipment.
Any sum will contribute to the purchase of interactive whiteboards which cost approx £3,000.
A regular donation of a little as £1.50 a month can make a real difference to our school and the education environment.
Gift Aid
As a registered charity, the PTA has registered for the government’s Gift Aid scheme. This means that when money is donated to the PTA we can reclaim tax from the government to increase the value of your donations. We can do this if you are a UK taxpayer and if you complete a Gift Aid declaration.
We hope that all tax-paying parents and guardians will complete the Gift Aid declaration on the Western PTA’s VirginMoneygiving donation page.
